Lalu
LALU things to try:
- Observe how thinking about a lion makes you feel. Does that feeling have a colour that you associate with it? Maybe you could use that colour to start picking your palette
- After you have painted Lalu's face, cut around the ears and pull them forward so they stand up. Glue Lalu's face page onto a backing piece of paper so you can stick collage behind the ears
- Cut out your coloured or painted collage paper and use the foliage to design a mane for Lalu
Here are some things to try as you make your Lalu come to life:
1. Put on some music and see how listening to different types of music influences your speed, stroke type or pattern and colour choices
2. Add a layer of paint to your paper, let it dry and then add a second layer with more paint and pencil or crayon details
3. Pay attention to the space around your foliage - fill up your whole page with colour and pattern, this will give you more choices when you come to cut up your paper
